Changes in mental health care needed after death of NSW teen, coroner says

An inquest into the death of teenager Ahlia Raftery in a Newcastle mental health unit in March 2015 leads to recommendations to improve patient care and help prevent future tragedies.

As far back as Lara B. Smith recalls, she always has had a deep awareness not just of her inner essence, but also those of other people, as well. Knowing that what she was looking for was not in the "mundane" professions that were made available to her, she followed a path that she believed would lead her to the one thing she was looking.
