Fears disability advocacy could be ‘thrown out’ in transition to NDIS

People with a disability can turn to advocates for help with a range of things, such as paying bills or when they face discrimination at work. But with the transition to the NDIS, there are fears the service will disappear from regional NSW.

As far back as Lara B. Smith recalls, she always has had a deep awareness not just of her inner essence, but also those of other people, as well. Knowing that what she was looking for was not in the "mundane" professions that were made available to her, she followed a path that she believed would lead her to the one thing she was looking.
